Ds 708 updates download but fail?

     I have had this machine for about 2 months now and still can't get updates to install? They download but don't install. I am doing this through the machine due to only having apple systems at home. Can anyone help please?

    Yes steve the server has been down for quite sometime now, try again but before you
    start updating make sure your sd card is at least 8gb in size or updates will not fit, I will
    go for 16 gb better or even 32gb. Type sd card on the search bar aboved and you will
    find post with all the info needed to the job. Good luck.

     Thanks for the reply I have purchased a bigger sd card already (128gb). I have copied the three files over from the original sd card to my new one on my Mac, the scanner works just can't install updates. Just quite annoying that I can't Install certain manufactures I have uninstalled some of them to see if they were bad downloads? and now can't get them back. Will they be lost forever or just until the server is back up and running? Thanks again ede65.

    As long as your update period hasn't expired you can get them back as soon as the
    server is up and running again. Also when updating with the maxidas thru the tool it
    self make sure to use an ethernet/land cable, the wireless could be a bad idea. Also
    reset your modem and or wireless router just in case. The server has been down but
    only for a few days not a couple of month so am worry there may be an issue with your
    internet. Check all this possibilities and let me know good luck.

    My update period has only started two months ago so that's ok check! I had it wired with Ethernet cable check! Router is next though it is a new router from two weeks ago gone from cable to fibre. I will reset it and try again fingers crossed. I will just keep trying. Muchly appreciate the reply.

    Another thing you can try if nothing works is connecting to another network like at a
    friend or relatives network to rule out that possibilty.

     It seem to download and installs now but doesn't appear on the machine on the main menu. Any ideas? Thanks again.

     language setting, make sure all settings are in english.
